The cost of the Practical Driving Test is currently £62. No-one can guarantee that you will pass your driving test especially first time but with KEY SKILLS because the driving lessons are conducted so that you enjoy your driving and get the best out of them you will have a great chance of passing your driving test first time.
Your Practical driving test can be conducted in an up to date car provided by KEY SKILLS. In fact it will be the vehicle you have been taking your driving lessons and learned to drive in.
The practical driving test will last about forty minutes and will include:-
- An eyesight test
- Two Vehicle safety questions, one while driving (show me, tell me)
- About twenty minutes of Independent driving, either following a SAT NAV or following road signs
- One reversing maneouvre
- Possible Emergency stop
- General driving on different type of roads and traffic conditions
To pass you must commit less than sixteen driver faults with no serious or dangerous faults. The examiner will give you your result at the end of the test. At the end of the test it is worth letting your instructor listen to the debrief.
